A Record Breaking Year at the 2018 Paralympic Winter Games
From coast-to-coast-coast Canadians cheered on this year’s team with pride as we witnessed a record-breaking 28 medals (8 GOLD, 4 SILVER and 16 BRONZE) in Pyeongchang, South Korea. These past two weeks of competition proved exciting and very memorable. It culminated in personal achievements, sportsmanship and last but not least, national pride! Thank you athletes, volunteers, and the entire organizing committee for one of the most exciting years of competition we have ever seen!
We now look forward to the 2020 Summer Paralympics to be held in Tokyo, Japan, August 25 to September 6, 2020! All the best—we know you will continue making us proud!
